The Challenge
MegaMart operated its 200 offline stores and online marketplace as separate entities. Inventory data was synced only once a day, leading to constant "phantom stock" issues—customers buying items online that were already sold out in stores.
The Solution
We built the "RetailOS" Unified Commerce Engine.
- Real-Time Sync: Every POS scan instantly updates the global inventory database.
- Ship-From-Store: Algorithmically routes online orders to the nearest physical store for fulfillment, turning every location into a distribution center.
- Unified Customer Profile: Tracks purchase history across both channels for personalized marketing.
The Impact
The gap between online and offline was bridged.
- Stockouts Eliminated: Inventory accuracy improved to 99.8%.
